Today, we’re taking you behind the scenes of our latest residential project in Chelan. From the very first scoop of earth to the final vineyard plantings, here is the story of how this dream home came to life.
Phase 1: Laying the Foundation & Building the Bones
Every great structure begins below the surface. Our journey started with excavation and foundation work, carving out a place in Chelan’s beautiful terrain to anchor this future home. Once the concrete cured, the transformation accelerated.
Watching a house get framed is always a thrill. First came the exterior walls, tracing the outline of the home against the Washington sky. Quickly following, the interior framing began to define the rooms. During this stage, our teams were hard at work behind the scenes, installing the invisible essentials that make a modern home comfortable: intricate electrical grids, top-tier plumbing, and a high-efficiency furnace designed to keep the home cozy through Chelan winters and cool during our blazing summers.
Phase 2: Framing the Views
If you’re building in Chelan, you’re building for the outdoors. With the structural bones in place, the focus shifted to connecting the home with its environment.
We installed the stairs and expansive decking—the future site of countless morning coffees and summer evening BBQs. Next came the windows, carefully chosen and placed to flood the home with natural light and frame the stunning panoramic views like living pieces of art. With the exterior siding and details wrapping up, the structure officially transitioned from a construction site to a true home.
Phase 3: The Finishing Touches & The Vineyard Life
The final phases are where a house gains its soul. Inside, the drywall, paint, and custom finishes transformed the raw spaces into bright, airy, and luxurious living areas. Every detail was curated to reflect a modern, comfortable lifestyle.
But we didn’t stop at the front door. To truly embrace the Chelan valley culture, the final stages of this project took us out into the soil. We installed custom vineyard irrigation and planted rows of young vines. In just a few years, the owners won’t just be looking at wine country—they’ll be living in their very own private vineyard.
